It’s always exciting when the passion project of community volunteers evolves into a brand recognized by millions around the world.

KSM’s previous graphics and most Competitive World of Warcraft community events often center their graphics around the entrance portal, or instance game art. To help KSM stand out from the crowd we took things in a completely different direction and focused on a more modern addition to the game: the keystone itself (featured front-and-center on the desert background) for which the organisation gets its name. 

Keeping KSMs identity tied to the instantly recognisable, fun, light-hearted elements of the game was crucial to transferring KSM’s tone of voice to visuals and still keeping things authentically rooted in the game while providing polish, and consistency to their branding and stream graphics.
